River Cities Barrel Racers

1.  Dress code enforced; long sleeve shirt, hat and boots (or heels down riding shoes) required.  There will be a $5 fine for losing your hat in the arena. (Long sleeve T-shirt allowed but must be tucked in pants.)
2. No refunds or rider substitutions without Vet Excuse.  Horse substitutions allowed until books close.  No switching of draw positions.
3. One Minute time limit on all exhibitions.  $5 fine for each exhibition over 1 minute.
4. Horse may enter each race only once unless ridden by immediate family member.
5. Contestants must be pre-entered to be in draw.  Late entries will run after all pre-entries.
6. All re-runs at discretion of arena director.  A horse falling during a run will NOT receive a re-run.
7. Contestant will receive a no-tine for knocking over a barrel, breaking the pattern, or running out of turn.
8. Failure to answer 3 gate calls will result in official scratch.
9. Books will close when there are 25 riders left to run.
10. 80% of entry fees will be jackpotted.  The Entry fees will be divided: 1D – 35%, 2D – 30%, 3D – 20%, 4D – 15%
11. 100% of the added money will be split evenly between the four divisions.
12. Winners of the 4D will be determined as follows: 1D – fastest time of race, 2D fastest time of race plus one/half second, 3D – fastest time of race plus one second, 4D – fastest time of race plus two seconds.
13.  # of  Places:    1 – 12   =  1,  13 – 20 =  2,  21 – 40 =  3,  41 – 80 =  4, 81 – 120 = 5 , 121 – 160 = 6, 161 – 200 =  7,    201 and above   =  8
14. Youth Riders may "roll-over" their Open time into the Youth run and not have to make a second run.   Drags will be made according to the Draw, after every five riders, even if the rider does not run due to the roll-over of their t ime.

Please check the draw sheet posted on the board BEFORE the show starts to be sure your number has not changed.   Sometimes changes have to be made to allow for riders with multiple horses.  Thank you for your consideration.
